Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim has announced his retirement from international cricket. Imad’s retirement announcement comes shortly following Pakistan’s poor performance in the 2023 World Cup. Imad Wasim announced his retirement through Twitter. Meanwhile, it is not clear why the retirement announcement.

“For a few days I was thinking regarding my international career. It seems the right time to announce his retirement from international cricket. I would like to thank PCB for all the support. It has been a great honor to represent Pakistan over the years. The 121 matches I played in both ODI and T20I formats was a dream come true. It’s an exciting time for Pakistan cricket going forward with new coaches and leadership. Wishing everyone all the success. I am looking forward to see the team’s performance’, Imad wrote in his post shared on Twitter.

“Thank you Pakistani fans for always supporting me so passionately. Thanks to my family and friends who helped me reach the heights. I now want to move away from my international career and focus on the next step.’ He added. Imad was a member of the Pakistan team that defeated India and lifted the Champions Trophy in 2017.
