The fantasy first-person shooter Immortals of Aveum has been released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. Critics’ impressions of the novelty were quite mixed. Recall that in the very first review of the game, they predicted a quick departure for discounts. Immortals of Aveum currently scores 71 out of 100 on Opencritic (only 50% recommend the game). Among the positive aspects of Immortals of Aveum are a rich single-player campaign, dynamic battles that do not let you get bored, the beautiful visuals of Unreal Engine 5, and the overall ambition of the debut project Ascendant Studios. In one review, the novelty was compared with a pleasant mix of Doom, Destiny and Control. But what some journalists did not like was, according to them, a very bad and predictable script, annoying characters, an unfinished loot system, repetitive level design, sometimes boring puzzles and some technical problems. Apparently, this is one of the most popular complaints regarding Immortals of Aveum.
