Certain foods have the power to improve your mood, at least that’s what Dr. Caitlin Hall, gut health expert and dietitian at Myota, suggests.

“While it’s tempting to turn to our favorite sweets or takeaways when we’re not feeling our best, these foods can make us worse in the long term by raising our blood sugar levels and by harming the delicate balance of bacteria in our gut,” said the expert.

1. FERMENTED FOODS
