In Aragua they rehabilitate Mother María de San José Shelter House

Weeding, phytosanitary pruning, cleaning, debris removal, repair of the electrical system, doors, locks, external and internal painting, recovery of the white and sewage system are part of the comprehensive rehabilitation work carried out by the Government of Aragua in the spaces of the “Madre María de San José” Shelter House, located in the city of Maracay.

This was reported by Governor Karina Carpio during a visit to inspect the work being carried out in this educational center, which offers shelter to girls who do not have the support of their families, offering them the attention and care of a multidisciplinary team made up of facilitators, maintenance staff, cooks, educational psychologists and doctors who contribute to the physical and emotional health of the little ones.

«I am very satisfied because it is a very human job, it is a reality that we live here in the state of Aragua, because when they see what we are doing they will feel as happy as I am, sometimes we worry more regarding the structures , and we forget the hearts of the people who really need us », highlighted the president, who emphasized that the rehabilitation of the Shelter House is part of the positive things they are doing to improve the quality of life of the people of Aragón.

The improvements made in the center that include the provision of equipment for the audiovisual area are carried out thanks to the joint work between Vías de Aragua, FundaAragua, Gran Misión Barrio Nuevo Barrio Tricolor, Minec, Secretariat of Infrastructure and Secretariat of Telecommunications.
