An “important, simple, innovative and inexpensive” remedy. This is how the Geneva State Council presents its solution to prevent the evacuation of tenants who are late in paying their rent. Executed by the General Hospice, the planned device is aimed primarily at the “lower middle class”, i.e. people too rich to obtain social assistance and too poor to deal with hard knocks when incomes drop – pandemic, separation , unemployment, retirement.
