The Kirovsky District Court of Irkutsk sentenced a man to five years in a strict regime colony for torturing the four-year-old daughter of a cohabitant and forcing the child to stand on peas. This was reported press office prosecutor’s office of the Irkutsk region.
A four-year-old girl went to the grocery store near her house for help. The seller filmed the conversation with the child and traces of beatings on video and posted it on the Internet. Law enforcement agencies became interested in the video.
“At the investigation and in court, the man, previously repeatedly convicted for committing mercenary and violent crimes, did not admit his guilt,” the Irkutsk prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
The girl’s mother was limited in parental rights. The girl was removed from the family, she is in a social institution.
