Italian Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio declared the inadmissibility of using weapons that Italy supplies to Kyiv for strikes on Russian territory.
“We must provide support to Ukraine and its army for the purpose of legitimate self-defense,” the minister said on the air of the Rai 1 TV channel.
At the same time, he added that Italy cannot supply weapons so that they can be used to strike at Russian territory.
“Italy continues to work towards achieving peace,” he added.
