BUDERSCHEID – Shortly before 6 a.m. on Sunday, the police had to search for the driver of an accident vehicle, abandoned in the middle of the road.
Damaged vehicle, airbags triggered but… nobody inside. This is the funny scene witnessed early Sunday by police on the N12 near Buderscheid. Around 6 a.m., a patrol came across a damaged car, left in the middle of the road, hazard lights on.
Inside, the airbags were triggered but no trace of the driver and any passengers. A man was finally able to be identified and arrested shortly following. He was intoxicated and his driver’s license was revoked.
The circumstances of this accident were not specified.
