In Sri Lanka, a one-day increase of Rs 77 for petrol and Rs 55 for diesel Fuel price hike

Colombo: In a single day, petrol prices have been hiked by Rs 77 per liter and diesel by Rs 55 per liter in Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan currency is depreciating once morest the Indian rupee. It costs 3.30 Sri Lankan rupees to get an Indian rupee. Petrol price has been hiked to Rs 254 per liter (Rs 76.2). 176 (Rs. 52.8) for diesel. This is following Lanka IOC, a subsidiary of Indian Oil Corporation, increased diesel prices by Rs 50 per liter and petrol by Rs 75 per liter.
