Two foreign workers died at the construction site of a residential building in the Vasileostrovsky district.
The ambulance, the police, the Investigative Committee and the prosecutor’s office were summoned to the alluvial territories at regarding six in the evening the day before, the Agency for Journalistic Investigations (AZhUR) news agency learned on December 14. According to preliminary information, a 25-year-old citizen of Tajikistan, who is on the migration register, and his 29-year-old illegal fellow countryman fell into an elevator shaft from a height of the 13th floor. Moreover, none of the colleagues saw the circumstances of the fall.
The workers died from their injuries.
The issue of initiating a criminal case is being resolved.
