Al-Marsad newspaper: The official spokesman of the Jeddah Municipality, Muhammad Al-Baqami, said today (Tuesday) that the residents of the slums showed clear cooperation in implementing the development process.
He explained, during his speech on the “Saudi Street” program on the “Saudi Arabia” channel, that the residents were notified long enough before the process of removing slums.
He added that the great challenge in Jeddah was to bring regarding a comprehensive development in the slums, especially since the main goal behind this is to serve the human being and protect him from negative phenomena.
He pointed out that one of the committees is responsible for receiving and processing the residents’ observations. He emphasized that the cooperation of residents and owners contributed to the rapid completion of this task.
