Al-Marsad newspaper: Prince Saud bin Salman said that his horse Emblem Road was not a candidate to win the 2022 Saudi World Cup, in the presence of both the horse Musharraf and the horse Mandalon.
Prince Saud bin Salman added, during his appearance on the Ya Hala program: “Emblem Road was not a candidate for victory from everyone, and an American magazine following the race said that one person nominated Emblem Road to win, out of 200 people.”
He continued, “Everyone was candidates, the horse Musharraf and Mandalon, and the truth is they deserve it because they are the champions, but Emblem Road proved that he is a champion and capable of competing.”
He continued: “The fourth place in the world is a big thing, and the horses behind it were rated higher, and since the introduction of Emblem Road last year, we said that this horse is in its place in the main runs in the Saudi Cup.”
It is worth noting that Prince Saud bin Salman’s Emblem Road won the 2022 Saudi World Cup, under the watchful eye and patronage of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, at the King Abdulaziz Equestrian Field.
