Al-Marsad newspaper: Today, Saturday, the MBC Weekly program sheds light on an old commercial operation in the Kingdom known as “Al-Sabra”, in which two parties agree to rent a fixed amount annually, for long periods of time in the Qassim region.
The current tenant said in an interview with the program: “His grandfather agreed with the owner of the farm on (Al-Sabra) for 200 saa’ annually, and the town judge wrote between them the agreement for a period of 700 years.”
The tenant indicated that only 80 years have passed from the 700-year period, and if the period ends, the farm will return to the people closest to the first owner; According to the rule of law.
A number of farms and real estate in the Kingdom live within the “Al-Sabra” process, some of which reach thousands of years, due to an agreement made by the grandparents and followed by the children.
