In Thiruvananthapuram, a speeding car collided with a bike, and a father and son met a tragic end

Thiruvananthapuram: A father and son died in a car-bike collision at Nagaur Kallingal. Pradeep, a native of Nagarur, and his eight-year-old son Sridev died. Pradeep’s elder son Srihari, who was with him on the bike, was admitted to the hospital with serious injuries. It is reported that the speeding car hit the bike they were traveling on.

The accident happened on Saturday night at Kallingal. Pradeep and his son died on the spot. Eyewitnesses say that the car was speeding and coming in the wrong direction and hit the bike.

Two people in the car have been taken into police custody. It is suspected that they were drunk. Both were shifted to hospital for medical examination.
