Eight months following the fire which completely destroyed it, the Etang des Essarts observatory in the Chérine reserve was reinstalled. On February 28, the observatory, which allows you to admire the black-headed gulls resting on the pond, went up in smoke within an hour. Its reconstruction cost 40,000 euros including 5,000 financed by an online prize pool. Since Tuesday October 31, it has once once more been accessible to nature lovers who came to witness the installation of the observatory.
