In Yekaterinburg, an associate professor who is accused of taking bribes will go on trial.

The man worked in one of the universities of the city. According to the investigation, since March 2021 until March 2022, he received bribes three times: with a vertical drilling machine, a chandelier, and a meat grinder. In return, the associate professor took exams and term papers without checking students.

– More than 30 witnesses were interrogated, a search was conducted in the dwelling, a significant amount of documentation of interest to the investigation was analyzed. Also, during the investigation, interim measures were taken – the court, at the request of the Investigative Committee, seized the property of the accused (gold and silver items worth more than 800 thousand rubles), – the regional Investigative Committee of the ICR reported.
