Inameh predicts rainfall in much of the country due to tropical wave

The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Name) reported that during this Saturday, July 13 Tropical wave No. 20 will move from the east to the center of the countryso some areas will remain cloudy and others with precipitation and thunderstorms.

«Tropical wave No. 20, moving from the east to the center of Venezuela, interacts with the intertropical convergence zone; generating cloudy areas with rainfall of variable intensity in areas of our Guayana Esequiba, Bolívar, Amazonas, Anzoátegui, Guárico, eastern Miranda, La Guaira, Lara, Falcón, Apure, Barinas, Portuguesa, the Andes and Zulia«says a newsletter from the institution.

Inameh emphasized that the tropical wave will reach the center of the country in the afternoon hours.

«The rest of the national territory prevails with partly cloudy skies. “It is expected that in the next few hours, tropical wave No. 20 will move over the center of the country.”

In recent weeks the rains have caused havoc in some locations in the national territory. The passage of Hurricane Beryl mainly affected the state of Sucre, where the Manzanares River overflowed in Cumanacoa, leaving a balance of six people died and 29 thousand injured.
