London: The UK police said that the action of the officer who removed the turban of the Sikh man in police custody was indecent. The officer was acquitted following an investigation by the Independent Office on Police Conduct (IOPC), which investigated a complaint lodged by a Sikh man once morest a Midlands police officer.

The Sikh man had alleged that he was forced to change his religious turban. He also alleged that the officer behaved rudely towards him in the incident that took place in October 2021. However, the investigation committee said that the allegation is false.
