Hangzhou: India won the women’s hockey. In the match in Pool A, Indian women defeated Malaysia 6-0 and registered their second consecutive win.
India managed to score four goals in the Malaysian net in the first quarter. Monika started the goal chase in the seventh minute. Grace Eka scored in the 8th minute and Navneet Kaur in the 11th minute. Vaishnavi Vithal Phalke also scored in the 15th minute. Sangeeta Kumari scored in the 24th minute and Lalresiamy in the 50th minute.
