It is reported that the India-Pakistan match in this year’s ODI World Cup will be held on October 15 in Ahmedabad. India’s first match is once morest Australia on October 8 in Chennai. The news was reported by ESPN Cricinfo quoting the BCCI.
The opening match between England and New Zealand will be played in Ahmedabad on October 5. The final match will also be held in Ahmedabad on November 19. The semi-finals will be held on November 15 and 16. The venues for these matches have not been decided.
A total of 10 teams will play in the World Cup. Eight teams have been decided. The remaining two teams will play the qualifiers.
