New Delhi: Hockey captain Harmanpreet Singh and boxer Lovelina Borgohain will fly the Indian flag at the opening ceremony of the Asian Games in Hangzhou on September 23.
This was informed by the Indian Olympic Association. Javelin throw superstar Neeraj Chopra was the flag bearer at the 2018 Games. Harmanpreet led the Tokyo Olympics men’s hockey bronze medal winning team.
Lavlina also won bronze in the women’s boxing 69 kg event in Tokyo. A 655-member team is coming out for India.
