The medical team arrived in two ambulances thinking that the girl needed help. The man, who did not speak English, panicked, called an ambulance and repeated “Tom and Jerry” and “Baby”, confirming that the case was a complicated delivery. But then he realized that the call was for the cat’s calving!
Officials said it was unfortunate that ambulances for emergency services should not be brought in to delay the treatment of those in need. Although the ambulance has a scientific system that can reach the patient within 4 minutes, officials say such trends are affecting services.
