After the West Indies tour, India may rest the coaches, including Indian head coach Rahul Dravid, during the Ireland tour to be held in August. BCCI has allowed batting coach Vikram Rathore and bowling coach Paras Mambre to rest along with Rahul Dravid.
National Cricket Academy head VVS Laxman will be India’s head coach for the Ireland tour. Other coaches from the National Cricket Academy will also join the Indian team. Hardik Pandya himself will lead the Indian team this time.
Jasprit Bumrah, free from injury, will return for India in the series. After looking at Bumrah’s workload here, the player will return in ODIs. Other players like KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer will not be in the tour due to injuries. Fans will still have to wait for the duo’s comeback.
