Intercontinental and SAFF Championship Football
New Delhi:The 27-member Indian squad for the Intercontinental Cup and SAFF Football tournaments has been announced. Malayalee players Sahal Abdussamad and Ashiq Kuruniyan were included in the team. The Intercontinental Cup will be held in Bhubaneswar from June 9 to 18. The SAF Championship will be held in Bengaluru from June 21 to July 4.
Sunil Chhetri will lead the team. Along with Chhetri, Rahim Ali and Ishaan Pandita are also on the move. The goalkeepers are Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Amarinder Singh and Furbha Lechenpa Themba.
