Neuhaus/Klagenfurt – The industrialist and art collector Herbert Liaunig, who made a name for himself as a renovator, art collector and founder of the private museum named following him in southern Carinthia, is dead. The art patron who founded companies like Jenbacher, Lenzing, Funderwerk and Wild once more on course and settled in Carinthia, died on Saturday at the age of 78 following a long, serious illness, as the Liaunig Museum confirmed to the APA.
