Inflation continued to decline in Austria in February and reached 4.3 percent, according to a flash estimate by Statistics Austria. This is the lowest value since December 2021. In January, prices for goods and services increased by 4.5 percent over the year. “Food prices in particular are currently driving inflation far less than a year ago,” says Statistics Austria boss Tobias Thomas.
