UA man belaying mountaineers was heavily injured on Saturday followingnoon at the rocks of Freÿr, along the Meuse near Dinant (province of Namur). He was the victim of a major rockfall, say the firefighters of the Dinaphi area.
The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. Firefighters used a boat to get to where he was. He was then taken to hospital. The exact nature of his injuries has not been communicated for the time being but his life is not in danger.
