This is very bad news for Club Brugge. Bjorn Meijer, who was barely back following several months on the sidelines, was injured once more.
Bjorn Meijer left the Netherlands U23 training camp due to injury. It was the national team which announced the news this Tuesday via its official channels. It is not yet known what type of injury it is.
This is a real blow for Meijer, who had been slowed down at the start of the season following an injury. In recent weeks, he had regained his place in the basic 11.
We will of course await further information before making our opinion. But if Ronny Deila must replace him in the coming weeks, he should logically call on Maxim De Cuyper.
