Instagram is quietly building a new feature that leverages artificial intelligence to transform static photo collections into more dynamic, video-like Stories. The tool, dubbed “AI Transition” within the app, aims to bridge the gap between still images and the increasingly popular video format, particularly Reels, on the platform.
