The West Flanders public prosecutor’s office is investigating a new suspicious death in a nursing and care home in Oostrozebeke, near Kortrijk, it announced on Saturday. The structure is already involved in a investigation into three alleged murders and six attempted murders following overdoses caused by insulin injections.
The new victim is a resident of the nursing home. An investigating judge required various investigative duties. The prosecution declined to comment further. This rest and care home had been placed under surveillance by the Flemish Health Agency.Agency for Care and Health” in September 2022 following revelations in the press of suspicious deaths that occurred as early as 2020.
