Inter beat Torino in a home Serie A match thanks to Thuram’s hat-trick

Inter defeated Torino in the home match of the seventh round of the Italian Football Championship.

The meeting took place in Milan and ended with a score of 3:2. Marcus Thuram scored a hat-trick for the winners. Duvan Zapata and Nikola Vlasic, who converted the penalty, scored for the guests.

From the 20th minute, Torino players were forced to play in the minority due to the sending off of Guillermo Maripan, who received a straight red card. At the end of the second half, Zapata was replaced due to injury and left the field on a stretcher.

Inter scored 14 points and moved up to second place in the Serie A standings, Torino (11) is sixth.

In the next round, Inter will visit Roma on October 20, and Torino will play Cagliari away on that day.
