Three short films from Kyrgyzstan were selected for the 5th International Youth Festival of Visual Media “Meihodo”, created with grants as part of the production of socially significant content of the “Media-K” Internews project in Kyrgyzstan.
This is a feature film-dystopia “The Man Who Asked”, and documentaries “Postman” and “Shyrdak”.
The other day it became known that “Shyrdak” was shortlisted and the film will compete for the main prize in the “Outstanding Film” nomination “Outstanding Film”).
The festival will take place from 19 to 28 April.
The results will be announced during the award ceremony on April 28, which will be held on the Japanese island of Kyushu in the city of Fukuoka.
The 5th INTERNATIONAL YOUTH VISUAL MEDIA FESTIVAL “MEIHODO” this year received 3533 applications from 122 countries.
