The French Federation of Fencing is an association law of 1901 in charge of organizing, developing and managing the practice of fencing in France. It now has 55,000 members in 800 affiliated clubs who can practice foil, saber, epee, but also artistic fencing and lightsaber. Fencing is the French sport that has won the most medals at the Olympic Games (123).
As part of a season that promises to be intense with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Federation’s communication – marketing – events department is looking for an intern, a position to be filled as soon as possible.
MAIN MISSIONS
The intern will be in charge of daily support for the activity of the communication – marketing – events department. He/she will have the following tasks in particular:
Marketing/partnerships (50%)
• Implementation and event management of marketing operations
• Production of documents for partners (presentations, reports, summaries, etc.)
• Support for the monitoring and management of partnerships
• Information monitoring
• Support for equipment management
• Support for the management of the official store
• Development of emailings related to partners or events
• …
Events (50%)
• Prepare and ensure the running of the Mazars Challenge International de Paris
o Logistic follow-up and material management
o Volunteer management: recruitment, planning, reception
o Service provider relationship
o Administrative follow-up
o Setting up animations
• Follow-up of events delegated by the Federation to decentralized structures (Youth Festivals, Challenge Monal, French Championships, etc.):
o Follow-up of specifications
o Advice and follow-up with the organizers
o Material logistics and orders (medals, trophies, etc.)
• Management of one-off event projects such as the Evening of Champions, events related to the Olympic Games, etc.
COMPETENCES ASSOCIEES :
• Good knowledge of the sporting world
• Very good written and oral expression
• Capacity for analysis and synthesis
• Mastery of the Office suite

PROFILE
• License 3 or master’s degree in sports management, marketing, communication (business school type, IAE, STAPS, etc.)
• License B required
