Investigation and Arrest of Jake Martin for Robbery at Boise Credit Union

Arrested: Jake Martin, 32, Boise

Charge: Robbery (F)

Boise Police detectives investigating a robbery at a credit union on the 10000 block of W. Fairview Avenue identified a suspect and made an arrest on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.  During the course of their investigation, evidence led detectives to investigate a vehicle associated with Jake Martin. Upon further investigation and following locating additional evidence, Martin was arrested and booked into Ada County Jail on the listed charges.

Previously released February 3, 2024

Today, February 3, 2024, around 1:25 pm Boise Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at a credit union on the 10000 block of W. Fairview Avenue. Initial information showed that the suspect claimed to have a weapon but did not show one and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

BPD is interested in speaking with anyone who may have witnessed the suspect or has surveillance video from a nearby home or business.

Suspect: The suspect is described as approximately 5’6” to 5’8”, in his mid-20s, with blondish hair, pale skin, and possibly a short beard or stubble.

Call Dispatch: Anyone with information regarding the suspect or who has video or additional information to assist in the investigation is asked to call Ada County Dispatch at 208-377-6790.
