Asunción, IP Company.- On the finish of April, funding initiatives authorised beneath Regulation 60/90, on the Promotion of Direct Funding, reached US$ 144 million; a rise of 9% in comparison with final 12 months.
The constructive variation was US$ 12 million in initiatives with approval from the Funding Council, reported the Ministry of Trade and Commerce (MIC).
Among the many funding projection sectors, the doc reveals that 89% is concentrated within the secondary sector, whereas the remaining 11% is within the main sector. Likewise, the remaining 0.3% is positioned within the tertiary sector.
In the course of the month of April, 13 new initiatives have been authorised with an estimated funding of US$ 48.34 million, which exceeds the initiatives introduced throughout April 2023 by 92%.
The principle ones are from Alcogreen SA with an funding of US$ 13.64 million for a biofuels plant in Paraguarí. They’re adopted by Siom Paraguay SA for an funding of US$ 10.20 million for the manufacture of metal elements within the Central division, and Tomizo Industria de Cápsulas SA for pharmaceutical merchandise for US$ 10.11 million in Alto Paraná.
The initiatives with the best variety of jobs to be generated are within the wooden and pharmaceutical sectors. To a lesser extent there are the meals, metals and manufacturing sectors.
