A meeting of the delegation of the State Enterprise “NC “Kyrgyz Temir Zholu” with “RZD-International” LLC and “Russian Export Center” JSC on the construction of the railway “Balykchy – Kochkor – Kara-Keche” was held in Bishkek.
“The head of the Kyrgyz Temir Zholu company, Azamat Sakiyev, greeted the participants and informed regarding the progress in the construction of the Balykchy-Kochkor-Kara-Keche railway.
During the meeting, the participants discussed issues of further joint design, construction of the Balykchy – Kochkor – Kara-Keche railway with related RAT systems (railway automation and telematics), field design and survey work and other issues.
Also, a technical group consisting of representatives of Kyrgyz Temir Zholu and RZD-International conducted an on-site inspection of the construction of the Balykchy-Kochkor railway, where they got acquainted with the work process.
Recall that in order to attract investment, as well as to complete this project on time, in December 2022, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the State Enterprise “NC” Kyrgyz Temir Zholu “, Russian Export Center JSC and RZD-International LLC on the development of joint implementation of the project for the construction of the railway line “Balykchy – Kochkor – Kara-Keche”. At present, the construction of the railway “Balykchy-Kochkor” is being implemented by the forces and means of the State Enterprise “NC” Kyrgyz Temir Zholu “, in 2022, 5 km were built. “
