Iran’s foreign minister reveals his country’s desire to restore relations with Saudi Arabia and open an embassy in Riyadh

Al-Marsad Newspaper: Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian expressed his country’s desire to restore relations with Saudi Arabia and open an embassy in Riyadh.

And the Iranian foreign minister said, during the “Third Tehran Forum for Dialogue,” that his country is ready to resume relations with Saudi Arabia and open the embassies of the two countries.

The Iranian minister also expressed his country’s readiness to hold a meeting at the level of defense and foreign ministers of neighboring countries and countries bordering the Gulf.

It is worth noting that Saudi Arabia had previously confirmed its willingness to resume positive relations with Iran, but on the condition that Tehran review its policy of supporting militias in Yemen and other Arab countries, and refrain from seeking to build a nuclear bomb, which threatens the security of the region.
