Iraqi Oil Minister: We want balance in the crude markets

Today, Monday, the Iraqi Oil Minister said that the OPEC + alliance is monitoring the situation in the crude markets, saying: “We want to achieve balance in them, and we do not want any sharp increase in prices.”

Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar added in a television interview, broadcast by the Iraqi Al-Ekhbariya channel, that global factors have led to a recent drop in oil prices, the most important of which are the decline in development rates and the rise in inflation.

Oil futures prices closed more than two dollars lower today, as Brent crude recorded $84.06 a barrel, and US crude was $76.71.
