Is a police officer committing suicide with a pistol in a building in Nagatacho, Tokyo | NHK

On the morning of the 27th, a police officer was found bleeding in the toilet of an office building in Nagatacho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, and was taken to a hospital, but was confirmed dead. The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the situation at the scene as if the police officer committed suicide with a handgun.

The sergeant was taken to hospital but was later pronounced dead.

The scene was near the Liberal Democratic Party Headquarters and the National Diet Building, and the toilet where the sergeant collapsed was being used with permission by a police officer working nearby.
