The allegations formulated in a report by the online magazine “+972” are serious: Several Israeli army officials tell the medium under protection of anonymity how an AI system called Habsora selects targets for the Israeli army’s attacks in Gaza – and how civilians are increasingly becoming targets. Accordingly, homes belonging to suspected Hamas officers would now be cleared for destruction much more quickly than in previous conflicts. This applies even if they are not high-ranking members of the terrorist organization, and especially if numerous other residents of the houses or family members of the actual targets are still in the house.
