Deputies of the State Duma of the Russian Federation adopted the law on alternative service (AGS) during the period of mobilization. About it October 27 informs TASS.
As stated in the bill, persons undergoing alternative civilian service in organizations of the RF Armed Forces and other military formations continue to perform such service when mobilization is announced in these organizations.
However, Russians undergoing ACS in executive authorities or in local governments, as specified in the bill, can be sent for alternative civil service during mobilization in the RF Armed Forces, other troops, military formations, bodies and special formations for civilian personnel positions.
