The preparatory game between the NFL teams New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers has been canceled due to a serious injury to Isaiah Bolden.
The 23-year-old defenseman of the Patriots remained motionless following a collision with teammate Calvin Munson and had to be taken off the field on a stretcher following initial treatment. Both football teams then decided to stop the game at 21:17 for New England.

“He had feeling in all his limbs but was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation and observation,” the Patriots said.
“We’re just keeping our fingers crossed,” said Patriots coach Bill Belichick.

Relief came on Sunday followingnoon: Bolden was released from the hospital. He will also travel back to Foxborough with the team.
