Isiah Pacheco was crowned the 2023 Super Bowl champion with the Kansas City Chiefs, being one of the revelations of the game and offensive options for quarterback Patrick Mahomes throughout the final once morest the Philadelphia Eagles.

Pacheco was born in New Jersey on March 2, 1999, but has Dominican and Puerto Rican blood. Despite being selected in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft with pick 251, the running back knew how to open a space on the best roster in the league.

In the Super Bowl he was able to add 15 carries for 76 yards and a touchdown. In the regular season he had 170 carries for 830 yards and 5 touchdowns, while through the air he was able to record 130 yards.

“I will always praise my Latin roots. I love my family and where I come from,” Pacheco said days before becoming an NFL champion.

The AS outlet recalls that not everything has been joyful in the life of Pacheco, who in 2016 learned that his older brother, Travoise, was murdered and in 2017 his sister, Celeste, was found dead.

“My brother, if you saw me here, you would be amazed. He encouraged me to play football as a kid and never got a chance to watch me play. Having the opportunity to play helps me a lot to not worry regarding the tragedies that have happened. It makes me want to try harder,” Pacheco said, according to AS.
