ISL 2021-22: Goal for Irshad; North East United draw with Mumbai City

Mumbai lost by two points in a draw once morest North East United. Both scored one goal each. Ahmed Jahouh scored Mumbai’s goal.

Fatorda: Mumbai City FC squandered their golden opportunity to top the points table in the Indian Super League (ISL 2021-22). Mumbai lost by two points in a draw once morest North East United. Both scored one goal each. Ahmed Jahouh scored Mumbai’s goal. Malayalee player Mohammad Irshad also scored a goal for North East.

Jahouh shook the net in the 30th minute through a penalty. The first half ended with a goal. But in the 79th minute, North East hit back through Irshad. Mumbai’s attempts to retaliate were thwarted by the defense. Mumbai’s Amy Ranawade was sent off during the innings. Mumbai dominated the match but managed to score only once.

Mumbai is in fourth place. Mumbai have 18 points from 12 matches. North East are 10th with 10 points from 14 matches. Bangalore FC will take on Chennai FC tomorrow. If they win, Chennai has a chance to reach the top. Currently, Chennai is in the fifth position with 18 points. Bangalore are 12th with 14 points.
