The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) said that 51 people, the majority of whom were women and children, were killed and dozens were injured in an Israeli bombing of homes in the Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip yesterday evening, Saturday.

The health authorities in Gaza reported that a large number of the injured were in serious condition, and the majority of those killed and injured were children and women.

Al-Maghazi camp is located in Deir al-Balah in the middle of the Gaza Strip. More than 9,488 Palestinians have been killed as a result of the Israeli bombing of Gaza since the beginning of the war between Israel and Hamas on October 7th.
