Israel’s finance minister for “wiping out” Palestinian town of Huwara – Israel

JERUSALEM – Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has called for “wiping out” the Palestinian town of Huwara in the West Bank. Smotrich, who is also responsible for settlement expansion in the West Bank, said at a conference of the business newspaper TheMarker on Wednesday: “I think the village of Huwara has to be wiped out. I think the State of Israel has to do this – for God’s sake not private individuals .”
