The restructured structure will allow the companies to focus on their core activities, while Moelta will be involved in the recovery of embezzled funds.

It is suspected that 40.4 million was embezzled from the BaltCap Infrastructure Fund portfolio companies by the illegal actions of the former manager of the infrastructure fund and other persons. euros. Fund portfolio companies UAB “Žvirgždaičių energija”, UAB “Nullus”, UAB “Moelta” and “EN Efficiency PL” sp. z o. o. are considered victims of these actions. At the end of last year and at the beginning of this year, these companies started a series of legal proceedings against Š. Stepukonis and other potentially responsible persons.

“The reorganization allows to localize the problems and the potential for their solution in one legal entity and, in this way, to untie the hands of the remaining companies of the fund to operate undisturbed and implement the started projects. In order to implement this plan, it was decided to transfer all claim rights of “Žvirgždaičių enerjija”, “Nullus” and “EN Efficiency PL” to the affected company “Moelta”, which will continue the legal process regarding the recovery of funds in a specialized manner”, said BaltCap partner Simonas Gustainis.

The ongoing changes will not affect the activities of companies operating in the BaltCap infrastructure fund.
