It hurts and saddens me.. Abu Trika comments on the “altercation” incident between Mohamed Salah and Klopp

England – Former Egyptian star, Mohamed Aboutrika, expressed his sadness over the verbal altercation between his compatriot Mohamed Salah and German coach Jurgen Klopp, during Liverpool’s match once morest its host West Ham United, on Saturday evening.

Video clips showed a verbal altercation between Klopp and Salah in the 79th minute, as the Egyptian star prepared to participate as a substitute in the match that brought together the “Reds” and its host West Ham United (2-2), in the 35th round of the English Premier League.

Mohamed Salah showed signs of anger when he stood on the touchline and directed some words to Klopp, while Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez and Joe Gomez tried to calm their Egyptian colleague.

Abu Trika said regarding the incident, while he was in the match analysis studio on beIN SPORTS channels: “I am sad because of this situation. On a personal level, I am sad. This hurts me and saddens me, because I love both, but I love Salah more.”

He added: “But Salah is wrong, whoever this is your coach… You and he have succeeded in building a relationship that people dream of. The relationship between them is not only on the field but also outside it. This (disagreement) should not appear in public and in front of the fans. That two people created this.” It is epic that they have reached this (heated) dialogue.”

Abu Trika continued: “Both of them are football legends, and both of them on the personal and social level are something to rejoice in. I love Salah very much and he is my little brother, but he should not behave like this with his coach.”
