Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo revealed on his blog that next year’s iPhone 15 Pro Max will use a periscope telephoto camera, but only the highest-end model, while the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max in the following year will have both. The periscope telephoto camera, in addition to the periscope telephoto camera, the cameras of the iPhone 16 series will also have other upgrades.
This group of cameras will use a dual-camera design, and a piece of glass with two plastic lenses. They will be produced by Largan and Yujingguang in Taichung and Xiamen respectively. They will be equipped with Sony’s 12 million-pixel 1/3-inch photosensitive element. F/2.8 aperture, support photosensitive element shift and anti-shake, the focal length will fall to 5 to 6 times.
