Al-Marsad newspaper: Egyptian artist Menna Arafa sparked controversy following her statement regarding cohabitation between two people before marriage.
Arafa said in televised statements: I reject cohabitation and it is religiously forbidden, but it is socially beneficial because people can get to know each other very well through it.
She added: The most important thing that makes you get to know people is travel. When you travel with someone, you will be able to know his character, “Moody, lazy, not clean,” and she continued: “There are things that a person must live with you in order for you to know them.”
